On Saturday, November 5, this year's metropolitan horse racing season in Chuchle Arena Prague ended. The final, fourteenth, raceday culminated in the 6th year of the PP Asset Management Prague Winter Favorite Stakes (Class B, 9f, 100 ths. CZK, 2yo), in which a Czech bred filly Lowe Wole made a relatively unexpected win.
Chesnut filly Lowe Wole with jockey Martina Havelková won by a length and a half ahead of Charpentier, with the strong finished debutant Tommy Lee Horn by two and a quarter lenghts third. The winner of the owner/breeder Rostislav Šefraný is trained by Karel Germič in Lysá nad Labem, she started for the third time and won for the second time in her career.
In the second of the main races of the day, Josef Šach Memorial Stakes (Class B hdcp, 9f, 90 ths. CZK, 3-yo+) the favoured 3yo dark bay colt of the Hana Veselá stable Like Magic won easily by five lenghts under jockey Václav Janáček. For horse of trainer Zdeněk Seménka it was the second lifetime win.
The final afternoon was marked by doubles: jockeys Václav Janáček, Jaroslav Línek and Martina Havelková, trainer Michal Kalčík and the FVE – Relay JK Levín stable wrote two wins into their careers.
This year's Czech jockeys championship Lázně Poděbrady Cup was also decided, the winner of which was Jiřina Andrésová, in the 102-year history of the Czech and Czechoslovak championships, the first winning woman. The most successful actors of the 2022 Chuchle season were jockey Petr Foret, female jockey Martina Havelková, trainer Miroslav Nieslanik and stable MUDr. Eva Nieslanikova.
